Many thanks for your support with regard to getting the Polyvalent mackerel fishing open.The article in the Galway Advertiser is very good and very acurate also.
This problem highlights the fact that the Dept of the Marine has no policy with regard to fishing and fisheries managment. Finally this has come to light in a public way. It may be a good time to push on with getting a policy in place.
